A music celebration reviving the music scene from the historic plazas, during the era of the Chili Queens and Strolling Troubadours.
On November 24, from 6-10 p.m., there will be a music celebration that will relive the local music scene from the era of Chili Queens through the Golden Days of the strolling troubadours. The historic plazas in downtown San Antonio were the city’s original music venue. “Los Truvadores”, a group of musicians, played and filled the air with their romantic boleros, ballads and huapangos of their native Mexico. Experience and enjoy the origins of that San Antonio sound with music styles ranging from Trios, Mariachis, Norteño, Cumbias, Son Jarocho and Conjunto music. The plazas will be filled with music on every corner of Market Square.
